Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente, Jr. today announced that Oneida County , in partnership with the Workforce Investment Board, is sponsoring a Veteran’s Stand Down Event on Wednesday, December 3rd to connect local veterans in need of assistance with a wide range of job training and community support services.

Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente Jr. today announced that Oneida County has hit the $1 million mark in e-Bay sales.
 

PICENTE:  STATE AUDIT PRAISES COUNTY, SHOWS NEED FOR LONG-RANGE FISCAL ACTIONS
Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente, Jr., today announced that an audit from the Office of the State Comptroller has offered positive feedback on Oneida County ’s actions to control spending and strengthen its financial position. Picente noted that the report also calls for actions to address potential declines in sales tax or state and federal revenue.  

 
PICENTE JOINS STATE'S COUNTY EXECUTIVES IN OPPOSING COUNTY HIKES TO ADDRESS STATE BUDGET CRISIS
Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente, Jr., today announced that he will join County Executives from both parties and all areas of the state in a news media conference call on Thursday to encourage State lawmakers to cut State budget spending in a way that does not put added pressure on homeowners, businesses and county governments in the form of increased property taxes.
 
PICENTE'S PROPOSED 2009 BUDGET ENHANCES ONEIDA COUNTY'S FISCAL STRENGTH
Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente, Jr., today delivered his 2009 Budget Message to the Oneida County Board of Legislators, noting that turbulent fiscal times require prudent actions by County Government to enhance the county’s fiscal strength in a time of turmoil on Wall Street.
